I have a designer store that has its own website. It is always necessary to keep the site updated, of course. The customer visiting the website always wants an organized neat site with a pleasing look. The best way to promote the website is via Google Adwords in my opinion. You can target particular keywords so your ad is only displayed when those keywords are entered by a searcher. That way you get targeted traffic to your website.
I also sometimes get newspaper and magazine ads published with a discount offer. The discount offer first catches the attention of customers. I ask suggestions and the email address of the customers visiting my site. So I sometimes send personalized emails as well as mailing letters (via bulk business email lists) to their addresses. I always think of innovative ideas and once I had tied up with an accessory line for promoting our website.
