The insecurity that comes with online buying.posted on 29 August 2010 in UncategorisedMany will be lying if they say that every time they punch in that credit card code on the internet they don&rsquot feel insecure. Even when they have as little as a dollar they sure feel unsecured. Check for example on eBay where individuals have the opportunity you actually don&rsquot know who is who and a honest seller, the best thing to do is trust your instinct and check for feed backs. Some even go as far as asking questions on ebay help chat. When it comes to sending money online it is a fifty - fifty chance and you cannot really be sure if it is safe or not. Many take the risk and they actually win in the long run. Others will never have anything to do with online purchases because they actually feel it isn&rsquot worth the risk at all. Even banks that issue these cards warn users about using them on the internet because of fraudulent sites pretending to sell genuine things just to get hold of their credit cards. Everyone needs caution |

Innovative Ways of Marketing Your Websiteposted on 27 August 2010 in Business and FinanceI have a designer store that has its own website. It is always necessary to keep the site updated, of course. The customer visiting the website always wants an organized neat site with a pleasing look. The best way to promote the website is via Google Adwords in my opinion. You can target particular keywords so your ad is only displayed when those keywords are entered by a searcher. That way you get targeted traffic to your website. I also sometimes get newspaper and magazine ads published with a discount offer. The discount offer first catches the attention of customers. I ask suggestions and the email address of the customers visiting my site. So I sometimes send personalized emails as well as mailing letters (via bulk business email lists) to their addresses. I always think of innovative ideas and once I had tied up with an accessory line for promoting our website. |

There's Never Been a Better Time To Be Into Fashionposted on 26 August 2010 in FashionTrends in fashion keep on changing from time to time and old designs make way for new ones. Though women nowadays wear different types of stylish dresses my favorite fashion wear for women is sari. Women definitely look elegant and beautiful in sari. Various types of saris are available like cotton, silk, chiffon, crepe etc. It depends on what one likes to wear and the occasion for which she is wearing. They go well with shopping bags and shoulder bags too. Cotton sari is little difficult to wear and maintain but it looks the best on women. Chiffon and crepe saris are light and easy to wear and make the women look elegant. For parties heavy embroidered work saris with matching blouse can be kept. One can also wear matching necklace, bangles and earrings as these go very well with sari. Since I’m very fond of saris I always keep my wardrobe updated with the latest collection of sari which I usually wear to parties. I also keep matching bangles, necklaces, and ear rings which go with the sari. |

Guide to moving dayposted on 22 August 2010 in Home and GardenTHIS is it, the day of the move has dawned. ● The removal company will give you a specific time or approximate time for their arrival, which is usually between 8.30 and 9.30 am. Be there to let them in promptly. They will have a lot to do and cannot afford to lose time just because you've slipped down the shops. If you can't be there, ask a friend or family member to act on your behalf - and inform the removal company as to what is happening. ● Ensure the removal team know your mobile phone number, so they can content you during the journey to the new place if they necessary. If you are not reachable, give them the number of a friend or relative. ● Make the removal team knows exactly where your new home is before setting off. ● Do a last check of your old home before you leave. After the move: ● Clean the old house out thoroughly when it is empty. ● Make sure gas, water and electricity utilities are switched off after you leave. ●all Make sure your estate agent or former landlord get their keys or entrance key cards back, along with details of alarm codes. Work and preparation for the day of the move begins as soon you get the keys to your new home. You will see the place in a different way to when the estate agent showed you around. Your first thoughts now should be to the moving day itself. If the place needs a clean, get to it! ● On the day itself try and visit the new place ahead of the moving team to make last minute checks and ensure they will be able to get on with their task as quickly and safely as possible. ● Try and make a layout plan out with a guide to what is going and where. ● As your furniture and property are taken into your new home, watch out for damage or missing items. If there any problems, ensure they are put on the inventory sheet before you sign it. When you sign the sheet, that will be your acknowledgement of correct delivery of all items listed, and you won't be able to take action if you find something is missing or damaged afterwards. ● Leave you children or pets with a friend or relative, if possible. Alternatively, keep them out of the way of the moving team, but, of course, make sure they are safe. Dogs, in particular, are very sensitive to changing events and will get very stressed if their routine changes suddenly and people they don't know are in and out of house. They will almost certainly not understand what is going on, so don't forget to give them plenty of reassurance and distract them with treats. ● When the removal company are finished, don't forget to thank them for their hard work and a thank you in the form of a cash tip for the beverage of their choice will not go amiss. |

We need lie detectors in our unemployment offices.posted on 18 August 2010 in Business and FinanceI have a lot of mixed feelings about people collecting unemployment. unemployment benefits quit job, unemployment benefits laid off, or unemployment for being fired are the categories that one find himself or herself looking for employment and seeking benefits. If you quit your job or are fired in some states you can not collect for a period of 6 weeks or it has to go up for review. Often the employer will lie about the circumstances that caused your unemployment. In New Hampshire they can fire you for any reason they want and you have to wait six weeks to get your unemployment benefits. If they tell the unemployment office that you quit then you can not collect at all. So many employers will do anything to make you quit. They will cut your hours. Give you the worse shifts and give the worse jobs because they want to get rid of you for whatever reason. They don't want their unemployment insurance rates go up. They will even call you and tell you not to come in. This is their way of saying you agreed to quit. Under these circumstances the employer and the employee will have to go to a hearing. The employer is hoping you find another job before the hearing. Every case has a story to tell. The federal government doesn't want to hear it. They rules and regulations to follow. It is unfortunate that employers and employees are dishonest. The work ethnic in America today is not what it used to be. |

The hidden not so great benefits of studying abroadposted on 3 August 2010 in Business and FinanceI wanted to study abroad in China every since my freshman year. There was a seminar on how to go about applying to go to China as an international student. I could go over and take advantage of the benefits for international students if I offered to teach English to grade school students. The benefits were amazing. I only had to pay for my flight over and my visa. The paperwork was a bit time consuming but it would be worth it. I would have free room and board. A small stipend and upon my completion of a semester I would get paid $3000.00 and a flight home. I wondered what the catch was. I went to the seminar and picked up all my paperwork and found out that during the day I would teach 7 and 8th graders. I would finish teaching at 2 in the afternoon and go to college from 4 to 10. This was not going to be a ride in the park. I wondered if their 7th and 8th graders were just as bad as our hormone raged us junior high students. |

My Desperate Job Search On The Internetposted on 1 August 2010 in Business and FinanceIt's been about 3 months that I've been searching for jobs in the internet. I'm not looking for anything fancy like clinical research employment or anything like that - just something like article writing would suit me down to the ground. I completed my studies and was really looking for home based jobs because I am a housewife. For this type of job, I searched many of the online sites that were offering home based jobs. Firstly, I was disappointed with not getting appropriate jobs as per my skillset, but I never gave up and continued to search for a suitable job. After a while, I discovered sites like mturk who were offering jobs online. But there was still some confusion as to which company to select and which to ignore, as there are many fraud sites for which we should be aware of who do not pay you for your work. Meanwhile my husband supported me a lot and helped me to finally make my decision. Now I am very happy that I have selected the best jobs that suits my profile and those that I can do with all my efforts and the ones in which I can give my best. At the end of the day, all I want to say to those who are in a search for jobs on the internet is that search with all your concentration, never give up, try again and again with full focus and select that which is well suited for you and for which you can give your best. |
